Sophisticate pasties

This is a simple design made startling with the use of some of our more unusual materials. The base is covered in gorgeous silk dupion in a very unusual deep olive green and burgundy shot colourway. This extraordinary fabric meets its perfect match in an equally striking ribbon of deep red taffeta shot with deep (nearly black) forest green. This has been hand-sewn with a rosette-effect pleat and used to make a small ribbon bow to finish off these elegant pasties. The unusual, deep tones and attention to detail create a subtly striking vintage effect.
