This is an extremely pretty and romantic brooch, consisting of a gathered ruffle of lots of vintage crocheted lace and topped with a delicate triple bow of hand-dyed silk ribbon in shades of lilac and mauve. Reminds me of something you’d find in an old trunk in the attic, pin onto a lapel, and then answer lots of questions about where you got it. You could even tuck a fresh flower in the top to further enhance the feminine effect.
