We are long overdue for a revamp and the shop will be closed for some time whilst we create and redecorate. In the meantime, please contact us directly on julie@queenbea.co.uk if you are inetersted in a piece you have spotted here or would like to commission custom work.
So, we’re closed right now. Sorry!
Please do browse around though, and come back to buy later.
Green Tea Brooch
- Type: Brooches
These cute casual brooches are made from a combination of toning fabrics layered up and topped with vintage buttons. The fabric is die-cut into flower shapes so it’s a great way of using offcuts from handbags. The edges are left unfinished so most fabrics will fray a little with time for a trendier look. They are so easy to wear on a lapel, a jumper, or a hat. I even have a friend who pins one on the hip of her jeans!
I’ve used some of my favourite fabrics for this flower. There’s a textured velvet stripe in tones of green and gold, matched perfectly with vintage kimono silk featuring a “grassy” pattern, and a small flower of moss green velvet, and topped with a vintage button. Would set off a plain cardi or jumper perfectly.
